Espen’s BASE career dates back to 2001 and he has been a steady influence on the sport, particularly in Norway, for many years. He brings a measured and deeply experienced outlook to Next Level, and we are excited to have his perspective and presence on our team. In addition to being one of the world’s most experienced wingsuit BASE jumpers, Espen also has an impressive wingsuit competition resume’.

Espen was the first FAI World Cup winner, took Bronze at the FAI World Championships, is Norwegian Champion, and has competed well in the Red Bull Aces and many other PPC events. Espen enjoys competition and says it provides him with a valuable reality check, and a venue to meet people who inspire him to improve his flying constantly. In Espen’s words, "It’s been ups and downs in both projects and comps. I’ve won some and lost some, but the most inspiring thing is to put on the newest suit design and see how much closer we have come to actually flying. And we will, for sure. In a few years we will soar on the winds like paragliders, and I’ll do everything I can to be prepared to share the sky with rad pilots when it happens.".
